What You’ll Need:

• A strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchy string
• A ruler (with millimeter measurements)
• A pen or marker

 

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Cut a Strip of Paper or Use String

Cut a strip of paper about 6 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Alternatively, you can use a piece of string or dental floss.

 

2. Wrap Around Your Finger

Wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger you want to measure. Make sure it’s snug but not tight—it should be comfortable and able to slide over the knuckle.

 

3. Mark the Overlap Point

Use a pen or marker to mark the spot where the paper or string overlaps, creating a full circle around your finger.

 

4. Measure the Length

Lay the marked strip flat and measure the distance from the starting point to the mark using a ruler. Note the measurement in millimeters.

 

5. Use a Ring Size Chart

Compare your measurement to a ring size chart. For reference:
